1992 Daytona Iroc RT "Eva" *SOLD*

In January 2002, I started looking for an Iroc RT. I had been looking to get one for about 4 years. I've been a big Dodge fan since we got our minivan in 89 (89 Grand Caravan LE 3.0 256k R.I.P.) I've liked Daytonas particularly since one of my coworkers had a 91 Black ES 3.0 V6 in 1996. I searched alot and found a few but this one stood out to me. So I arranged a deal for for it. He was the original owner, 120k on it. He had all receipts and records including original window sticker and various Daytona clippings. So, I borrowed my uncle's Tahoe and rented a dolly and made the 7hr trek out to Ohio. We got to the guys house and I saw it for the first time. I wanted so bad to drive it but I never drove stick in my life. So my dad drove while I held on for dear life. OMG!! What fun! The fastest car I'd ever driven was my 92 Daytona 3.0 Auto and this was made my current seem like my old Aries. My dad didn't know if the clutch was going so he pulled out from an intersection and lit em up all the way through 1st and 2nd. SWEET!! We got an Ohio temp tag and towed it home. Thats how I got Eva. Eva was sold in late 2004 on ebay. She will be missed.

For those of you who don't know this is a very rare car. It is 1 of 2830 vehicles with the 2.2 DOHC Lotus Designed Intercooled Turbo Engine that produces 224 HP and 217 Torq. Of those 2830 vehicles; 431 were Iroc RTs. 250 were produced in 1992; which happened to be the same amount of Vipers made that year. In 1993, there were 181 made; bringing the total to 431. Of the 250 made in 1992, mine is 1 of 60 Black and 1 of 94 Black ever.
