1988 Dodge Aries
I was 16 and happily awaiting a
car to buy.
I bought this
1988 Dodge Aries from a friend
who is a
Dodge mechanic
It has 172k on the car with 5k
on the 2.5 Engine. It was an
auto and wasn't very fast matter
of fact the fastest 0-60
I clocked was 13.2. Very slow but it
got me where
I was going and back.
I drove it to Tenn. and S.
Carolina each once with no
cruise control. Looking at it
now, I don't know how I made
it and I was by myself. The
Aries, now on her 3rd
engine is my mom's daily driver with 301k. K, will soon have to be put to sleep.

1985 Ford Thunderbird
You love those lime green stripes don't you!
Long story. I basically did them to make fun
of people with stripes. I bought the car in
May of 2000 from a friend for .Upon purchase it was blue and had faded yellow mirrors and grille. I painted green racing stripes, added magnetic orange flames on the hood and painted the undercarriage and grille black. I also added a K&N air filter, a Sony CD player with 2 10" Kenwood subs, a rear spoiler from a 1986 Trans Am. I installed new door panels and leopard skin seats. The 5.0 V8 only produced 130 hp but alot of torque. I used to beat the heck out of this car.0-60 on this car was about 9 secs. Top Speed according to the metric side of the digital dash was around 199kh+(125-130). I wouldn't know though.

As you can see I installed a nonworking plastic hood
scoop and installed a bra. The spray paint began fading and chipping and peeling. Things weren't looking too good for the T-bird with 231k on it. I had put almost 50k miles on it in 16months. Unfortunely those 50k miles were very costly for someone working ptime at Kmart making an hour and a Restaurant making an hour. The transmission went out and because it didn't shift it caused the engine to go as well. But now 20k miles later I was driving to York one morning down I-81 and the tranny went out again this time leaving a mile long trail of white smoke. Yippie!! I was screwed. I needed a car really fast. So three days later I went looking. To find out what I got next goto Dodge Daytona page.
